StemWave is a medical device that has been cleared by the FDA. It harnesses the power of acoustic waves, which are safe and gentle, to stimulate the body’s inherent healing abilities. This treatment does not involve any invasive procedures and is specifically created to assist patients who are experiencing pain and inflammation due to musculoskeletal conditions.

Does Treatment Hurt?

During the process of identifying damaged tissue or inflammation, we will maneuver the treatment source around the injured area. When the waves emitted by the treatment source reach healthy tissue, you will likely not perceive much sensation. However, when the waves encounter damaged tissue, you may experience mild pain or discomfort that is manageable, without the need for numbing cream or anesthesia.
